On top of ensuring that our supply chain is authentically earth
& human friendly, we also
dedicate 10% of our profits to supporting localised responses to gender
focused human rights issues.
Through our W.I.L.D funding (Women's International
Leadership Development), we support identified authentic female leaders who
are striving to address gender inequity in their local communities / countries.
The funds are delivered and monitored by a Non Government Organisation -
our partners in the targeted community.
In most developing countries women carry the majority of the burden of poverty
yet have the least access to opportunities to rise out of it. Meanwhile, opportunities
offered to women to alleviate poverty tend to result in a greater benefit
to not only the entire family, but also their community.
